Once upon a time there were a queen and a king.
They got a beautiful girl, named „Sleeping Beauty“.
Es wurde ein großes Fest gegeben. Die böse Fee
wünschte dem Kind den Tod, aber die gute Fee
verwandelte den Wunsch in einen
hundertjährigen Schlaf.
Ci fu un grande banchetto. La fata cattiva disse
che la ragazza sarebbe morta, ma la fata buona
disse: “Dovrai solo dormire per 100 anni!”
Kien hemm festa kbira. Is-saħħara l-ħażina qalet
li riedet toqtol lit-tifla imma l-“fairy” qaltilha,
“Issa rraqqduha għal mitt sena”.
There was a big feast. The bad fairy said, the girl
should die but the good fairy said, „You only have
to sleep for hundred years!“
An ihrem 18.Geburtstag stach sich Dornröschen
an einer Spindel und fiel in den 100jährigen Schlaf.
Al suo 18esimo compleanno la Bella Addormentata
si punse con un fuso e cade in un sonno di 100 anni.

On her 18th birthday Sleeping Beauty stang at a
spindle and fell into the 100year sleep.

e un cespuglio di rose cresce intorno al castello.

Nach 100 Jahren kam ein Prinz, zerteilte die
Hecke und suchte das Dornröschen.
100 anni dopo arrive un principe, camminò
attraversoil groviglio e vide la Bella Addormentata.
Mitt sena wara ġie l-prinċep, għadda minn
wara s-siġra u mar ifittex lil Sbejħa Rieqda.
100 years later a prince came, cut the hedge and
looked for the Sleeping Beauty.

The prince found the sleeping princess and kissed her.
Sleeping Beauty awoke.
Alle im Schloss erwachten und feierten ein großes Hochzeitsfest.
Tutte le personenel castello si svegliarono e
celebrarono un grande matrimonio.

All the people in the castle awoke and they celebrated
a big wedding.
